The amulet of Saint Christopher with the face of a dog. The legends seem to herald from mid 13th century France concerning The legend of Saint Guinefort . This special commission was requested by a fellow who holds an advance degree in theology specializing in this mythos. His request was to re-create the amulet also it holds the likeness of his beloved dog who had recently passed. I was honored to make this for him as per his instructions. The amulet itself: A St. Christopher Amulet in sterling silver, framed as the ones in the Olde Days: the central figure of Saint Christopher offering a benediction of peace, holding a cross with the countenance of his blessed canine.
