A three dimensional sculpture of the old God. This rendering is an interpretation of Cernunnos (Cernnunos) as depicted on Gundestrup Cauldron, discovered in a Danish swamp. The Celtic design probably dates from the La Tene period. Here he is shown holding a serpent in one hand signifying knowledge and connection to the Ancients; and a tork in the other, the symbol of holding power in the world of mortals. |
